Perfect “hideaway” for people who love relaxation and nature.

An exclusive solid wood chalet in modern and ecological construction is currently being built in Hohentauern. This chalet differs in construction and architectural style from the usual alpine chalets and therefore offers something special.

Hohentauern is located in the “lower Tauern” in the heart of the “Steiermark” in Austria. The
small village with about 400 inhabitants is located at almost 1300 meters above sea level on the Triebener TauernPass, completely dedicated to “gentle tourism”.

There is a small ski area with about 12 kilometers of slopes, with all levels of difficulty right on the doorstep. In addition, there are a lot of extensive cross-country ski trails and far beyond the region
well-known ski and snowshoe hiking routes. The large ski areas in the Enns Valley around Schladming can be reached in just under an hour by car
Other well-known ski resorts (Lachtal, Kreischberg, Obertauern) also invite you to a detour.

Very charming in winter as in the summer. The nature park “Gesäuse” or excursions to the Leopoldsteiner-See in Eisenerz/Erzberg (where the world-famous Red Bull Rodeo takes place every year) leave nothing to be desired.

There is a doctor on site, a “mom-and-pop” shop for small shopping and several supermarkets in the surrounding area. There are a lot of home-style restaurants in the surrounding.

Framed by more than twenty 2000s, there are many beautiful routes and trails in summer. Recently,
They built several very nice and not overcrowded mountain bike trails.

“Pölstal” is offering, the place is well connected via the Phyrn motorway (12 km from the exit Trieben to Hohentauern). You can reach the place from Munich in about 3 hours very easily.

Day trips to Vienna (2 hours), Salzburg (about 1 1/2 hours) or Graz (1 hour) by car offers additional possibilities for leisure activities.

The chalet has a second home permit and is therefore fully usable, the complete year around.
